Hello, I have a rebuilt 258 in my 1950 Willys Pickup.. The block was decked, the head milled (.030) It now has about 5K miles on the rebuild... New cam, pistons, reground crank, the works... It's from a 1986 CJ7.. Stock intake manifold, blocked EGR and a Weber progressive 2 bbl carb... Stock head pipe works in this applicaton..
Will Pacesetter 2 piece headers fit??? I need just a wee bit more power into headwinds on long grades... At this point, I am hoping just improving exhaust flow will help.. The headpipe, muffler and other piping are all 2"..
Anyone got any cheap, easy, recommendations?? I don't feel like changing pistons and camshafts so??? Exhaust?? Any serious help would be appreciated..
