Spent the day working on the Plymouth. Swapped the gears out to 4.11's in the 8" with a Detroit. Stepping up from the Richmond Gear locker on 3.50's. It's served well, but noisier than a weedeater on half throttle in the back seat. Or maybe that's the Holley pump.. We'll see how it goes. Managed to go through all my Hypoid. Have to get to my FAPS.
Next up is to see if I have a 42 tooth mopar speedo gear in my bag of tricks. I thought I had one, but then, there's all sorts of things I've had in my shop, or thought was there. I find stuff for cars I haven't owned in thirty years! Can't find an oil filter for anything I currently own, but I have a pile of them.
Also found a headlight trim ring I can't identify. Looks kinda like a late 30's Ford, but that isn't right. I'll have to take some photos and see if you guys can ID it!
