Why are brake lines bent in a circle or a spiral when they leave the master cylinder? I put power disc brakes on the front of my 50 chev coupe deluxe and am now ready to replace all of the break lines. The original master cylincer had one line leaving it to go to both sets of breaks and it was simply straight out from the back and then on to the brakes.

Is the issue vibration? The new master cylinder is bolted to the frame (under the floorboard) and the brake lines are attached to the frame. Each front wheel has a rubber hydralic line connected to the frame and the rear axle has a rubber line from the frame to the axle housing.

Now I'm seeing brake lines coiled as they leave the master cylinder. Do I need to do this?

Thanks,
