Here are a couple more pictures of the progress.

Installed belts and alternator brackets-made by twisted six, also the distributor hold down.

next i installed a peterson breather, installed a oil acumulator off a nitro funny car, welded that to the valve cover, installed the BOV to the charge air pipe.

Still have to finish the upper mount for the alternator. also i have to finish some piping for the oil system to the turbo

Thanks for the comments.

The Orange canister is a oil accumulator. This came from a company called AFT, they make transmission clutch parts for nitro funny cars. I adapted this to use it as an oil accumulator.

The only reason i will run it is during slow down or shut down conditions. The turbo oil pressure will be low and the turbo will still be spinning. This will store just enough air pressure to discharge this oil to the turbo and prolong the life of the bearings. If the engine is running all it will do is overcome the air pressure and hold oil.

you can find these parts on sites like

Beautiful work. I like the idea of the oil accumulator to save the turbo bearings.

I sent him my old track pan and he set up a jig to make inline six pans.

$500 shipped was what he charged, one of the best prices i have seen for a aluminum pan.

I also have a accumulator for the engine as well, its about twice as big as the other but is still a AFT accumulator.

Just wondering if you have the oil pan at home now. I would love to see some pics of the final product!

All of my searches so far have come up a big fat zero so I am thinking that I need to call Charlie.

I will try to post some, ive been tied up with work for a while . If you do go with charlie send him your old pan to match the bolt hole pattern. The pan i sent him which was a circle track pan was a little bent so i had to midify a couple of the holes.

Yes Sissell does sell them but he out sources most of his work to

http://www.billetfab.com/pans.htm

He makes his pans/valve cover.

I spoke with them but to do a two piece pan with the ball bearing oil passages is like 1200 bucks.

Im not sure if he still send them out but when i called last time before i started with this pan from charlies he said he did.

Charlies pan came out great with supurb quality. Any issues i had with bolt holes were fine from sending him a crappy pan to work with.

Monster cam! Does your head flow that well?
This is obviously an all-out effort! Is that adjustable cam gear made by Johnson of Johnson lifters?

Some new pictures of the oil pan installed with some other parts.

All that is left finish welding reduced for wastegate, vacume/boost lines, motor mounts, dyno

Work has been more than crazy lately so ive had no time for progress.
