The "World's Fastest Indian" is a very entertaining movie although I suspect in true movie tradition the story was rewritten for some of the scenes. But Burt Munro was a real character

"There was one scene in the film I turned to my wife and said ' I cannot believe how similar the close up expressions of the actor are to old Burt' .......... she replied 'during that time all 17 year old girls kept a suitable distance from Burt!'"
