I believe most of the stock pg converters would stall around 900 rpm. However...
Similar to what Walt said, the stall will depend the combination the converter came out of and is going into. A converter from a 194 in a Chevelle would behave differently than 400hp 427 in a Vette and what you are putting it into makes a difference. For example, if you where to take the example Vette converter in a 3/4 ton pick-up with a 230, it will stall lower than in the Vette due to lower torque and higher weight. The 194 converter behind a built 292 in a Chevy II would probably stall higher than stock.
