Hi all,
Evidently, Chevy made a 224 cu.in. 4 cylinder engine with a 3 11/16 x 5 1/4 bore and stroke. This engine was made from 1918-1922. I was wondering if the crank and rods from this engine would work in the 171 cu. in. 1928 Chevy 4-banger (3 11/16 x 4 bore and stroke). This setup (the older crank and rods in the '28 engine) would yield more compression, therefore a few more horses. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Dean Meltz
