Is anyone running a 235 with an Edmunds 2 x 1 or 2 x 2 intake? I'm looking for info such as photos of the linkage, which carbs to use, cam specs, etc.

Thanks in advance

I have an Edmunds for a GMC. There is a hole for a linkage shaft that runs lengthwise through the manifold. That connects to the stock swivel on the block and the carbs link to that. There is no progressive feature on these. The carbs work in unison. It would be possible to split the shafts of two barrels and build linkage to mimic what the Harper 3x2 setups did but that would take some thought.

Hi Brian . . .

I am running an Edmunds on my hopped up 216. With bore and stroke it is now technically a 230:

Carb choice and orientation dictates a lot when it comes to linkage. I am running Carter WCDs:

this places the linkage between the carbs and the valve cover. In this orientation the throttle actuation is rotation toward the firewall.

I had originally thought that I could use another bell crank to turn the stock linkage rod's "lift" into a pulling motion. This was abandoned for two reasons. First the stock linkage to the Carter W1 is only lifting 1" and second, when I added the tube headers to the build, the rear header collector blocks the stock "foot feed" rod.

I went instead for cable actuation pulling straight back through the firewall. By adding aluminum disks to the Carter actuators the distance from the center of rotation is increased and moved forward. When the cable is pulled the Heim joints travel in a gentle arc:

the more cable travel you can support in the linkage the smoother the tip in.

PS the stock bell crank location was repurposed to support the choke stove:
