Hi everyone, my dad and I are working on a 40 Chevy special deluxe. You may have seen his posts about the rust in the engine and I came up with a possible solution by doing a body swap. We went through the measurements and determined an 08 Trailblazer SS would fit, with some massaging of the 40s floor. Key point is that the wheelbases matche. I was wondering if anyone else has done this successfully or attempted it and if anyone has any advice before diving into the project. Thanks for your input.

There is a forum here that is dedicated to the 4.2 engines. Maybe someone in there can help.
