Inliners International Forums General Discussion Drive Train Camero 5 speed on a 235

I have a line on a camero 5 speed. 1987 model.
I was woondering if anyone had put one behind a 235 six.. I have a 55 chevy with a 235, 3 speed now. The bolt pattern looks about the same, as does the spline. I was wondering about the bell housing and clutch, if the orignal will work or would I have to adapt anything.
Anyone out there inliners land ever done this??

Do a search for t-5 or t5 tranny on this bulletin board. Many have done it, including myself. It is easy, and worth the time.
