Are the distributors compatable from the 216 & 235? The reason I ask is that I purchased a pertronix for my 216 and would like to use it in the 235.

I found headers for our cars and trucks with 216 and 235

Wirthcustomauto.com for 216 and 235!! for 149.00

Dear Jack;

Yes on both counts. They do interchange.

Good luck, John M....

Depends on the cam you use. Later 235s
require other gear material.
The distributor itself interchanges but has different advance curve (weights) on a 216.
Also the vacuum advance has other specs.

Get a 235 dizzy and bolt the pertronix in if you want to use it on a 235.
