Good morning guys! I'm looking for a 216 replacement for my engine. She started up this morning with a rod knock. Any help would be appreciated once again. Looking for someone in florida, close to broward county or palm beach, but will drive anywhere in florida.

Dear Jack;

If it just started to knock; Chances are you could just 'change out' that rod & tighten up the rest. Or, replace all, rings & valve job (in frame).

This is a lot faster/cheaper than changing the engine.

Dang! I JUST had a 216 hauled to the scrap yard that I would have GIVEN you. Timing is everything I guess.
But NOW might be a good time on considering a 235 replacement instead of a 216 if it does not have to be BONE STOCK original.
