Kansas Racing Products president Doug Thompson with his Chevy S-10 Lincoln Welders-ARCA Truck.  Kansas Racing Products manufactures an inline four cylinder block that uses a V-8 small block cylinder head, GM, Ford or Mopar.  The ARCA Truck Series mandates a limit of 175 cubic inches for displacement, a 12 to 1 compression ratio and use of a 390 cfm two-barrel carburetor.  In that configuration, a KRP inline engine will produce about 320 horsepower on racing gasoline.

A circle-track midget that uses a modified OEM all-aluminum dual overhead cam inline four cylinder engine from a Ford Ranger truck.  This particular midget competes in the northeastern part of the USA with the NEMA midget group and is owned by Bruce Beane.  Bruce's Ranger engine produces about 340 horsepower using pure methanol alcohol.
