Event Title: Texas Inliners Wingding at Billy Hutson's ranch
Saturday, November 17, 2007
Texas Inliners,

Hey boys and girls, I think it's about time we had another get together. Jerry Davis and Billy Hutson have offered to host a wingding at Billy's ranch on the out skirts of beautiful down town Oatmeal, Texas, on the Sat. the 17th of this month. Here is what Jerry sent me in an e-mail:

Al, Billy just got back from Big Bend and we were able to work on the Nov.17th deal yesterday. Here you will find the map attached. We will furnish the lunch. Right now we are going to do something simple, we are leaning toward sausage wraps and beans. Billy's Son in Law has been asked to make some Gumbo and Rice to add to the mix, have to wait and see about that!! BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS (beer ok). Bring a lawn chair and the fishing is ok…Large Mouth Bass and other kind of fish are in lake. Billy asked that you use artificial bait only and catch and release. (I think he would in fact let you keep 1 or 2 if you wanted too.) He also has a horseshoe pitching pit and a canoe and a paddle boat for us to use. Your Cell Phone will not work in the Canyon. Please RSVP if you are coming, or just thinking about coming, to: jerpeg@nctv.com or (830)693-3571,if no answer leave a message. Here are the driving instructions…Take 243 South off 29 in Bertram, TX. Drive 5.0 miles to Oatmeal, TX. And turn right onto CR136. CR 336 is a loop road so be sure and go all the way to Oatmeal before you turn. Oatmeal has a big Yellow Oatmeal Can in front of the ONLY building in town!!! Stay on 336 and stay RIGHT where the road SPLITS (to the left is 337) about another mile will be The Indian Springs Ranch House on your right. Just across the road will be an OPEN GATE. (Leave the gate open) Go through the gate down through the pasture on a dirt/rock road down a hill. The hill may look kind of steep to you but trust me I have been up and down it many times in my 50 Chevy and so have many kinds of Classic Cars. At the bottom of the hill go on about 200 yards and you will see the Lake and parking area on your left. Hope to see you there for a fun day… JUST IN CASE of bad weather (rain/snow) we will be at the BLUEBONNET CAFÉ in Marble Falls, Just 13 miles South of Burnet on 281. My Cell # is (830)613-6150….Billy/Jerry

Sounds like a heck of a deal to me. Bring your rod and your rod and reel! See attachment for directions, and call or e-mail if you have any questions.

Al C.
