1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery with side windows

The '55 had a plate mounted inside that stated that it had been converted by novelty coach works in Seattle. Evidently the company bought SD's and converted them into" hospital cars"  They converted Cadillac and Packard vehicles into Ambulances and Hearses. The Chevy SD's were too small.  They must have put the windows in, the crosses are etched into the glass. It does have the one piece sedan delivery tailgate, so its not a wagon conversion.
When I took out the rotted cabinets in the back, I found an old payroll stub from 1959 and the guys address was on Andrews Air Force Base. This SD may have been a medic's car, but who knows. The car also has a passenger seat that swivels around and locks to face the back. I've never seen another one like it.

The '54 is really my baby because she was such a basket case when I got her. I've been working on her now for nine years    If I had a ton of money to throw at it, it would go a lot faster!  If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't start with a car that had so many parts missing.  I did everything on her including the body work. I hope to get an automatic in her someday, but the stovebolt stays put. I did a few small changes. I split the exhaust with some Fenton headers and put dual pipes on and some finned aluminum dress up gear, but aside from that ....and hardened valve seats... its the original 235 engine. I'll get some engine pics over later. The finned valve cover required a kit to install, so she had the two bolts in the valve cover like a 53, but she actually is a full pressure 54.

1941 Pontiac

Right now I'm working on a '41 Pontiac straight eight. It doesn't seem to have any more power than the sixes at this point, but give me a few years.......If you know of anyone that is looking for a Pontiac eight with a Hydramatic, I can give you my friends number.
