Gary has run a best of 14.4 with his
roller-cammed 250 with 2-4 barrels on a Clifford intake.
This is in the Street Machine class which requires
street tires. He has recently installed a 292, but has
yet to equal his best 250 time. He likes the 7000 RPM
redline of the 250 so he will probably put the 292 in
his '38 Studebaker street Rod, and use it strictly for
"Cruisin".
Gary and his wife DeeAnne are very active in the
Southeast chapter of Inliners International, and can be
found at most of the rod runs and nostalgia drags in
Florida. |
